Shakib Khan (Bengali: শাকিব খান or সাকিব খান, born 28 March) is an Bangladeshi film actor. His original name is Musud Rana. His debut as hero in the film "Annotho Bhalobash" which was not able to make him popular. His debut film as " Amar Shopno Tumi" directed by Mizan, it was very successful at the box-office. Now he is most talented and popular actor one & only in Bangladesh, Khan is widely known around Bangladesh due to his suberb skill in acting & dancing, Achieving many awards and honours. Now Bangladeshi people like him very much. He was born in Narayangaj.

Shakib Khan was born in Narayangaj. He was not the “Shakib Khan” when he was first time in Bangladeshi Cinema. His nick name was “Masud Rana”. Even he was curious about the Marshal Art .

He had eagerness on Dance and that’s why he even got himself admitted on a Dance Institution too. The name of his dance master is Aziz Reza. One day due to the curiocity he came to FDC and by fortunately met with a photographer. During taking some photo one of the directors of bangle cinema who were walking there loved him and said “Wanna be an actor?”

This is the turning point of Shakib Khan’s life. The first cinema of Shakib is “Sobai Tu Shukhi Hote Chai” by Rafiqul Islam . It was the time of 1999. but that movie is ban by bangladesh sensored board. Later 2000, he acted in Annotho balobasha directed by:shonor rahaman sohan, this movie release in 2001.

The first payment for Shakib Khan was just only 5000 BDT but now the payment is more than 35 Lac BDT.
